Tož mé první drabble v angličtině, protože ten vojenský žargon česky umím ještě hůř. Zkrácené formy počítám podle lexémů, jsem taky lingvista. ETA počítám jako jedno slovo. Akorát doufám, že tam nemám nějakou hroznou botu :))
Darkness and silent rustling. All around his men were working frantically. This target was top priority. Suddenly, his comm started beeping.
“C234 to C876, do you copy?”
“Roger, C234, what do you need?”
“Target spotted at 10 o’clock.”
“We’re not done yet!”
“Target inbound, ETA 1 minute. Good luck!”
C876 called his men back only seconds before the great gateway opened and their target was dragged through it. They were lucky to get to cover.
“Oh come on!” said something outside. “My favourite dress! Stupid calories...”
C340 leaned to C876: “I think our mission’s been compromised, sarge.”
