Don't Leave Me

We both know the pub so well. We used to go there all the time. Together. But tonight, you are going there to meet somebody else. Somebody who is supposed to replace me.
I'm going in. I will wait in the shadows, unseen.
You meet him and I watch you. You are talking. Then laughing. Then kissing.
I follow you to the toilet. I will make sure nobody will see us. Chloroform will do the rest.
One, two, three... I count the stitches as I'm making them. Legs, arms, heads. Together.
When you wake up, we'll be together always. Forever.
