CW: Self harm, blood.
Shepard can feel it, under her skin; the lack of herself.
She has no idea how they stitched her back together (like a ragdoll, she thinks, tracing the outline of her scars in the mirror), but you cannot come back from the dead without a few souvernirs. And of course, they didn't finish the job.
Sometimes she wakes up in the middle of the night with bloody fingernails, but not a mark on her body. Maybe it's rapid healing. Maybe they put her brain together wrong. Maybe both.
All she knows is: It's inside her; the itch she can't scratch.

No idea, what is happening, but it is very effectively unpleasant. Great job!
