Rimmer wasn't stupid. Lister was forcing his hand; had been manipulating him from the very moment Ace had told them he was dying.
He wanted Rimmer to leave.
And frankly, who could blame him? It was bad enough having to share a mile-long spaceship, but Starbug's cramped quarters must have driven him over the edge. Of course he'd jump at the opportunity to throw Rimmer out of the nearest airlock.
He didn't have to be so gointing smug about it, though.
"Don't go, bud," Cat yelled through the Wildfire's accelerating engines.
"I have to," Rimmer groused to himself. "I'm selfish."
Oh, very strong. Damn, Rimmer
Small_CS_Traff…
Oh, very strong. Damn, Rimmer is just such a sad character! (We all know that, what the hell am I wondering). I hope that in his wanderings he met the dimension that Craig Charles was talking about last Friday at ComicCon in Prague. The one where Listy and Rimsy are married and Kryten, as Listy's other adopted mother, takes the role of Rimsy's mother-in-law :-D.
Maybe he'd understand that Lister's intentions were a little different than he thought...
Really good drabble.
Wait, Craig said WHAT? Hah,
